Mighty Buck Session
LOGO DESIGN
Mighty Buck Session is a UK K.R.U.M.P. Dance Battle Event curated by RIPTIDE, whose mission is to elevate K.R.U.M.P culture in the UK.
Our goal was to create a logo for this brand new event that encompassed the energy, culture and visuals of the K.R.U.M.P. style.
It was important that we avoided imagery that included graffiti/guns/violence which are commonly used to represent the street dance culture, as they do not reflect the event or the company.
The solution - a solid, statement-making, symbolic logo.
We focused on the element of inclusivity, creativity and the energy of K.R.U.M.P. which is highly expressive, raw, grungy and murky. The wordmark maintains the rough and raw texture whilst still remaining simplistic, clear and bold.
