Ravel

BRAND IDENTITY PASSION PROJECT

Ravel is a hair care brand for people with locs and loose natural hair. They provide all natural, non toxic, no nonsense hair care products that are health conscious whilst giving a much sought after luxurious experience.

Ravel wanted their branding to look clean and natural, with minimal visual reference to black culture as they deemed it slightly 'tacky' amongst their competitors, and it did not suit their goals of inclusivity.

We settled on a clean colour palette of greens/greys/black and white to enforce the feeling of clean ingredients and simplicity.

The end result has subtle character without over performing, and also maintains a luxurious essence that allows it to stand out on store shelves and look premium whilst also fitting into the healthy, safe and clean product category.

The playful patterns lean more towards the black culture without overpowering or dictating the entire aesthetic.
